Removal day is often one of the most frightening and traumatic days in a child's life. Hope House was created to provide a safe, welcoming place where children can find comfort, stability, and compassionate care while they wait for a foster family to be identified. Instead of spending hours in an office or unfamiliar environment, children are surrounded by caring volunteers who help them feel special, valued, and loved through play, encouragement, and connection.

 Social workers have a dedicated office space to complete the necessary paperwork and coordinate placements while volunteers are caring for the children.

 

Hope House also eases the burden on foster families and makes it easier for them to say "yes" when they receive the call.
